Beyond a mere contest, Version is an immersive experience featuring coding challenges, hackathons, workshops, and interactions with industry experts. As the star event for MCA at NIT Trichy, it continues to be eagerly anticipated, drawing participants from across India.
Version 2026 promises to uphold its legacy of excellence, offering participants a unique opportunity to push boundaries, forge connections, and leave an indelible mark on the landscape of MCA events. Get ready to celebrate innovation, talent, and camaraderie at the grand stage of Version 2026.
Artificial General Intelligence
Current AI predicts the next token. Future AGI will predict the consequences of its actions. Version'26 is dedicated to bridging this gap. We are pivoting from standard machine learning to the Cognitive Architectures of tomorrow. This year's event dissects the reality of AGI research, separating science fiction from scientific hurdles. From Spiking Neural Networks to World Models, we invite participants to experiment with the emerging prototypes of general intelligence and solve the engineering limits that currently constrain our digital minds. While today’s models excel at pattern matching, true AGI—systems capable of autonomous reasoning, cross-domain adaptation, and real-time learning—remains a theoretical frontier. This year, we explore the roadmap to that future. Through expert lectures and hands-on workshops, we will dissect the critical technologies bridging this gap, from Neuromorphic Hardware and Mixture of Experts (MoE) architectures to System 2 Reasoning models.
